VisionSync

The University of Nebraska at Omaha assesses goals and initiatives that best advance our mission and shape the future of our institution.

VisionSync is a strategic planning and alignment platform designed to help track priorities, align initiatives, and measure progress towards shared goals. UNO has been actively using VisionSync in collaboration with the Office of the President to support coordinated planning, transparency, and accountability.

The platform helps ensure goals, initiatives, and outcomes are clearly defined, regularly reviewed, and aligned with the university’s broader strategic direction. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to thoughtful implementation, continuous improvement, and data-informed decision-making.

UNO's strategic priorities live across colleges, units, and community partnerships. VisionSync ensures that work is:

  • Aligned with UNO's mission, core, values, and strategic pillars
  • Documented for accreditation, assessment, and reporting
  • Transparent across leadership, faculty, and staff

VisionSync directly supports UNO's core pillars by enabling clear alignment between initiatives and outcomes related to:

VisionSync provides system-ready visibility into strategic goal alignment, cross-campus coordination, and evidence-based decision-making.

  • Documenting how strategy informs action and resource allocation
