  3. Internship Advisory Board

As Omaha’s premier public metropolitan university, UNO is committed to preparing learners for meaningful careers. Internships and other workplace-based learning are key components in fulfilling that mission.

The state of Nebraska recognized the importance of internships in preparing for and meeting the needs of the future workforce. UNO’s Chancellor’s Internship Advisory Board is initially charged with assisting UNO and the Omaha community in maximizing the opportunities provided by LB 1167.

The Advisory Board will consist of UNO and community leadership developing strategies that enhance internship experiences for learners and employers.
