National Collaboration in Strategic Planning

The University of Nebraska at Omaha was selected to participate in the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU) Strategic Planning Collaborative. Through this collaboration, UNO strengthens its role as a leader in community-engaged, data-informed strategy.

Strong strategic planning helps universities adapt, innovate, and better serve their communities. The AASCU Strategic Planning Collaborative - funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation - brings institutions together to share best practices, tools, and insights.

The Big Picture

Participation in the AASCU Strategic Planning Collaborative strengthens UNO's ability to deliver on its mission - transforming lives and improving communities through education, research, and engagement. 

It also positions UNO among a network of peer institutions committed to: 

  • Driving student success and social mobility. 
  • Advancing community partnerships and workforce development. 
  • Building agile strategies that respond to a changing higher education landscape.
