Tera is from Omaha, NE, and is studying IT Innovation. Her non-profit experience includes partnering with Omaha Street School. As a community action project, her team created an empathy toolbox to help facilitate connections between students and their community. The toolbox includes a questionnaire, activity cards, and a garden kit. She has research experience working with holograms and computer-human interactions as a research assistant in Dr. Derek's lab. Her internship experience includes working at Omaha Public Schools as a technology support intern. This included working at different schools to fix computers and help with technology-related issues within the school district. This summer, she will work with Nature Hills as a UX/UI design intern. Her career interests include coding and the user design aspects of websites
