Experiences and Involvement
As a Bridge/Road Structural Intern with Olsson, he assisted the structural engineer in developing project deliverables and market research.
He then served as Field/Office Engineering Intern at Kiewit Construction, where he aided in the procurement, placement, and construction plan sets of pipe systems, helped manage basic engineering services, and learned scheduling and construction techniques.
For a Community Action Project, he developed potential models for a UNO presence in the Millwork Commons area, helping to create 3D architectural modeling.
Michael serves as Committee Administrator for the American Society of Civil Engineers at UNO.
Michael is proficient in Bluebleam and has a basic understanding of AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Revit.
Career Interests
Michael is interested in a career in the environmental and geotechnical fields of civil engineering.
