Clayton is from Eagle, NE, and is studying architectural engineering. His non-profit experience includes partnering with Prairie STEM. As a community action project, his team plans to retrofit a trailer with WiFi and shelving to act as a mobile distribution center for STEM kits. They are also developing an app that will allow students access to video tutorials and instructions on how to build their STEM kits. His internship experience includes participating in the Scott Scholars Design Internship Program, where he worked with a team to develop an experiential learning curriculum. This summer, he will be working with Kiewit on the Seminole Combined Cycle Facility in Palatka, FL as a field engineer intern. His career interests include structural engineering, with a focus on creating sustainable buildings to reduce environmental impact.
