Additional Information

Peyton currently works as an inpatient and outpatient phlebotomist at Children’s Nebraska, where she is part of several specialized teams, including lab collection, code response, NICU, and pediatrics. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, she also serves as a trainer, helping new team members learn essential skills and procedures. At UNO, Peyton is actively involved in the Women in STEM Club, serving as the treasurer in 2025 and as the director of academic affairs in 2024. In addition, she is the vice president assistant of Chi Omega, managing academic support resources and connections for chapter members and planning their annual scholarship celebration event, which is a fundraiser for Make A Wish Nebraska. Peyton is also involved with the Anatomy and Physiology Peer Assistants Program as a lab assistant. For her Community Action Project with Special Spaces, Peyton served as family ambassador for their annual fundraising event, providing key support in areas such as outreach and event coordination. After graduation, Peyton will attend physician assisant (PA) school and is interested in specializing in the pediatric surgical field.
