Carter is from Papillion, NE and is studying computer engineering. He was a senior sensei at Code Ninjas, where he led technology and coding camps for 7-14-year-olds. His internship experience at the Scott Scholar Design Studio included partnering with US STRATCOM to develop new methods for upgrading technology. Carter's career interests include software and systems development, with a focus on accessibility. He hopes to design accessible software for users in a corporate setting.
