Overall, Canva Enterprise streamlines design processes, maintains brand consistency, and enhances creative collaboration for impactful visual content.

UNO’s Marq license agreement expired on January 31, 2026. Marq templates are being updated for Canva use. To continue working on your old Marq designs in Canva, you can upload a PDF to Canva and Canva will do its best to identify the design elements to make it easier to work on.

No. This was a strategic decision to protect UNO’s brand identity. Public Canva templates often use fonts, colors, and layouts that don’t align with our visual brand standards. For university work, only approved UNO-branded templates should be used. If you’ve seen something in Canva that you like, let us know — we’re here to help adapt and expand.

However, all standard Canva elements are still accessible in this space.

For log in and access issues, templates, or brand questions, please contact UNO MarComm at marcomm@unomaha.edu. A member of our team will be in touch.

For general Canva usage and feature support, please see: Canva Help Center.

Users

Users can request a seat with MarComm by emailing marcomm@unomaha.edu.

Users will then need to be approved by their department's funding source.

All UNO staff can have access to UNO Canva Enterprise. Please note: there is a cost per user billed back to the department.

At this time, faculty and students are not provisioned in the SSO for access to UNO Canva Enterprise, allowing them to continue interacting with Canva how they were prior to the switch.

Go to UNO Canva Enterprise. You will be redirected to the TrueYou login page. Enter your standard UNO credentials.

UNO Canva Enterprise requires SSO now; you will no longer have access to your Canva account under your UNO email address.

If you’d like to change the email on your account to a personal email, please submit a ticket for this request.

If you join UNO Canva Enterprise in the future, your old content will be accessible under your UNO email.

You can share your designs with your student’s UNO email address, if they have an account in Canva. Their design permissions will be true to whichever Canva workspace their email is associated with: free, paid, or pro.

No. To preserve the designs, all UNO related work should be associated with a UNO account.

Design Management

If you wish to transfer content from your current team to the new UNO team, you can refer to the instructions provided in this Help Center Article to copy them over.

Collaboration is easy on the UNO Canva Enterprise. You have the option to give full access to a design, comment, or view only access.

Review this  Canva help article for a step-by-step.

All branded templates are web and printer friendly. Digital designs are easily managed by Canva, while preparing Canva files for printing requires a bit more care.

Preparing for Digital Publication

  • When your design is completed, select ‘Share’ in the upper right-hand side of the screen.
  • For file downloads, select ‘Download’ from the ‘Share’ button.
  • From this menu, select your desired file type, resolution, and quality.

Preparing for Print

  • Products like trifold brochures are best printed by a professional printer (UNMC Print Services)
  • If your file has images, text, patterns or graphics that extend off the page, make sure “bleeds” are turned on and your design goes to the edge of the bleed guide.
  • Get an in-depth look at printing in Canva

Once you ensure your file meets the bleeds, you’re ready to download your file.

  • On the menu bar, select ‘Share’
  • Select ‘Download’
  • On the File type dropdown, select ‘PDF Print’
  • Tick the Crop marks and bleed checkbox
  • Select ‘Download’
  • Select CMYK in the ‘Color Profiles’ section for printing through UNMC Print Services

Each design will be different based on the design you choose. It is best to do a review before sharing the design. Once downloaded, please be sure to review PDF for accessibility standards in Acrobat or  the free PAC tool, before sharing.

If you need assistance with reviewing, ILCI is available to assist users with virtual support or in-person at Criss Library, room 320.
