John, a consultant with the Nebraska Business Development Center (NBDC), assists small business owners to prepare their business plans and financial projections before applying for the Nebraska Small Business Assistance Act (NSBAA) grants.

Previously, John worked in management consulting for several organizations before becoming an independent consultant for 16 years, primarily focused on helping executives develop strategy and identify opportunities to cut costs and improve efficiency. He also has experience as an international marketing manager, adjunct faculty for undergraduate business and MBA courses, and evaluating economic development projects in emerging markets.
 
He holds undergraduate degrees in Business Administration and Economics and has an MBA and MA in International Affairs.
 
He finds it personally rewarding to help passionate entrepreneurs obtain the resources they need to start and/or grow their businesses.
