April provides advice on financial estimates and business plans to help companies secure financing as a business consultant for the Nebraska Business Development Center (NBDC)'s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in Chadron. Additionally, she helps already-existing companies strengthen their financial standing and business plans.

April holds an undergraduate degree from Chadron State College: A Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Education: Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Chadron State College.
