Meet the Experts: Paul Gill

NCITE is excited to host Dr. Paul Gill, senior lecturer at University College London's Department of Security and Crime Science.

Paul Gill will be giving a discussion on counterterrorism. His research focuses on terrorist behavior including: lone-actor terrorism, threat management and risk assessment, radicalization, role profiles, Irish Republican terrorism, the impact of counter-terrorism, social network analysis and psychopathological explanations of terrorist involvement. His work is largely interdisciplinary, evidenced by publications in leading psychology, criminology, political science, mathematics and general science journals.

His research has been funded by the Department of Homeland Security, the National Institute of Justice, the European Union, the MINERVA programme, the Office of Naval Research, START, the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory, and the Centre for Research and Evidence on Security Threats.
