I’m interested in transferring to UNO, where do I start?

Schedule an appointment with an academic advisor by calling the Maverick Advising Center at 402.554.3672. What to expect:

  1. We'll help you schedule with an academic advisor in the MAC.
  2. You will be asked to fill out a Transfer Credit Evaluation Form which will need to be completed 4 days before your appt. Without transcripts, we may not be able to tell you how your credit will transfer.

Which of my courses will transfer?

The University of Nebraska at Omaha awards transfer credit to courses with grades of "C" or higher from a regionally accredited post-secondary institution. Major specific courses will transfer at the discretion of the college/department to which you apply.

To gauge how your transfer credits may transfer to UNO, please review the transfer articulation guide or Guided Pathways.

I’m ready to apply to UNO, what’s next?

Please take a look at the requirements and apply to UNO. Read more about transferring to UNO.

If you’re transferring within the University of Nebraska System, please submit the Intercampus Application.

A maximum number of credit hours can be applied toward a UNO degree. Your advisor will review this with you during your meeting.
