Welcome to our comprehensive support hub, where we are dedicated to assisting and promoting the holistic well-being of our community members. We understand the fundamental importance of addressing basic needs, and we are here to help brainstorm internal and external resources with you! The foundation of this toolkit is built to support and empower students with resources, equipping them with critical life skills for retention at UNO and preparation for their future.

What is the Mav R&R Toolkit?

Our toolkit facilitates internal and external referrals, connecting individuals with tailored resources and services to meet their unique needs.

Here are some of our services:

  • Maverick Food Pantry: food, toiletries, personal hygiene items, diapers, school supplies, menstrual products, sexual health products, parenting supplies
  • Oh SNAP! Application Assistance & Outreach: support for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program
  • Resource Guide: comprehensive list of internal and external partners in relation to wellness and basic needs
  • Community Gardens: growing produce on campus to distribute to campus community in collaboration with SustainUNO; seasonal availability
  • Durango’s Outfitters: A student organization in collaboration with SustainUNO, TEDO, QTTS, & the Alumni Association, it provides monthly pop-ups to distribute free clothing
  • Financial Wellness: workshops and coaching to support financial literacy + emotional connection to money (Coming soon!)
