Goodrich offers additional academic and financial support opportunities for our scholars to achieve success.
The Stephenson-Harrington Internship
Scholars pursuing any major who have completed 50 credit hours at UNO and maintained a cumulative 3.0 GPA are eligible to apply and upon acceptance are placed in sites in the community or in major-related offices on campus.
Scholars generally work for about 10 hours a week and receive approximately $1500 for the fall semester. All interns also enroll in a one-hour per week seminar (for which they receive 3 hours of Public Administration credit). The Stephenson-Harrington Internship has existed since 1992 and is well-regarded on campus and in the community.

Her January 2008 tragic death prompted the launching of the scholarship fund. The award is given yearly to a junior (58-90 credit hours) with a cumulative GPA above 3.0 (with no Ws or Fs or AUs or NCs). A brief essay must be submitted within the application period.
