Committee Charge
The UNO Graduate Council serves as the legislative and decision-making body of the UNO graduate faculty and as an advisory body to the associate vice chancellor for Academic Affairs and dean for Graduate Studies.
IS&T's representatives are elected from the college faculty who hold appointments in the graduate faculty. Representatives serve a 3-year term on the graduate council and also sit on one of the two committees.
When a vacancy on the Graduate Council from IS&T is expected, a call for self-nominations will be made to all eligible graduate faculty in the college. An election will then be conducted among the graduate faculty of IS&T to select among the candidates who have self-nominated.
Committee Meetings
- Graduate Council meets the 2nd Monday of the month at 2:30 P.M.
- Committee A - Policy & Planning meets the 4th Monday of the month at 2:30 P.M.
- Committee B - Courses, Programs, & Evaluations meets the 1st Monday of the month at 2:30 P.M.
