Biography
I have a Ph. D in computer science from University at Albany, SUNY.
Teaching Interests
I usually teach the graduate courses on i) design and analysis of algorithms and ii) information retrieval systems. I also teach the undergraduate course on introduction to database management systems
Research Interests
Replicated and distributed databases, data mining, bioinformatics.
Service Summary
I have been a member of the faculty senate of UNO, chair of the graduate program in computer science, and a member of several committees at the department and college level.
