Applicant Requirements

1. Hold a B.S. or B.A. in Education with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
2. Be eligible for appropriate state certification
3. Commit to the 14 month program (June - July with an orientation in May)
4. Complete application process
5. Complete application process with participating districts, specifying an interest in CADRE

Application Process

• An unofficial transcript.
• An updated resume.
• A letter of intent.
• One letter of recommendation from one of your university professors.

Follow the links below to apply to the school districts participating in CADRE. Each school district is responsible for selecting its CADRE Teachers. 2026-2027 CADRE Participating Districts include:

• • Bellevue Public Schools
  • Elkhorn Public Schools
  • Millard Public Schools
  • Omaha Public Schools
  • Papillion La Vista Community Schools

*Applications are accepted on a continuous cycle through May for the following school year.

3. Meet with a member of the CADRE Leadership team

• The CADRE Project office will notify the remaining candidates once the districts have completed the selection process.
