Applicant Requirements

  1. Hold a B.S. or B.A. in Education with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  2. Be eligible for appropriate state certification
  3. Commit to the 14 month program (June - July with an orientation in May)
  4. Complete application process
  5. Complete application process with participating districts, specifying an interest in CADRE

Application Process

1. Apply to the CADRE Project by submitting a completed application. Attach:
  • An unofficial transcript.
  • An updated resume.
2. Apply to participating school districts.

Follow the links below to apply to the school districts participating in CADRE. Each school district is responsible for selecting its CADRE Teachers. 2022-2023 CADRE Participating Districts include:

  • Bellevue Public Schools
  • Bennington Public Schools
  • Council Bluffs Community School District
  • Elkhorn Public Schools
  • Glenwood Community School District
  • Millard Public Schools
  • Omaha Public Schools
  • Papillion La Vista Community Schools
  • Ralston Public Schools

*Applications are accepted on a continuous cycle through May for the following school year.

3. Notification
  • The CADRE Project office will notify the remaining candidates once the districts have completed the selection process.
