Additional Information

Mohanad (Mo) is a pediatric cardiac anesthesiologist and serves as Professor and Executive Vice Chair of the department of anesthesiology at UNMC. He previously served as the founding Division Chief of Pediatric Anesthesiology at Children’s Hospital in Omaha. A native of Hama, Syria, Mo received his medical degree from Damascus University, Syria, and earned a Ph.D. in Science Education from Oklahoma University. He is a volunteer consultant for the Malignant Hyperthermia Assoc. of the United States, and enjoys curling, beekeeping and traveling with his wife and two children.
