Online Master of Arts in Critical and Creative Thinking

The Master of Arts in Critical and Creative Thinking is 100% online. Specific technology requirements may vary by course, but reliable access to high-speed internet is required. Review below for more information about technology requirements.

Course interaction with students and professors may include the following methods:

  • Online discussion boards or forums
  • Video or phone conferencing
  • Asynchronous or synchronous lectures
  • Email or synchronous chat
  • Other forms of electronic communication

Basic technology requirements and recommendations:

  • Personal laptop or desktop computer
  • Reliable high-speed Internet access
  • Webcam and microphone
  • Current word processor such as Microsoft Word
  • Up-to-date plug-ins (Adobe Reader, JavaScript, QuickTime Player, etc.)

Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus

ITS offers Microsoft 365 for free, for students, faculty and staff. As part of the Microsoft 365 agreement, current faculty, staff, and students can download and install the latest version of Office apps on five different devices at school and/or at home. Access is tied to your @unomaha.edu email address.
