Background
Omri Senderowicz is an Assistant Professor of History and Director of the Schwalb Center for Israel and Jewish Studies. His current research focuses on the Israeli kibbutz movement, a network of socialist communes that once stood at the vanguard of Israeli society and underwent a far-reaching process of decollectivization in the early 2000s. He teaches courses on socialism, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, modern global history, and anthropological approaches to history.
