Background

Charles Klinetobe has a Ph.D. in history from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His primary academic interests are American history, race and society, sport and society, and imperialism and colonialism. He is currently working on a dissertation project on segregated black baseball in Alabama and an article on the use of images of baseball in the civilizing mission of American empire. During the Summer of 2016, Charles will be teaching a Study Abroad Course for UNO titled "France, History, Culture, and Conflict."
