Bunmi Lawoyin is a dedicated educator, and advocate for student success, with a strong background in public administration and communication. Born and raised in Nigeria, she earned her Mass Communication degree from Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria. In 2018, she relocated to the United States to further her education, earning a master's in public administration from St. Cloud State University, Minnesota. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Public Administration at the University of Nebraska-Omaha, with plans to graduate in Fall 2026.
 
Bunmi is deeply passionate about supporting student success and empowering individuals to achieve their academic, personal, and professional goals. Her commitment to education and mentorship began early in her career when she operated several student-focused businesses on university campuses in Nigeria. Through these ventures, she provided mentorship and guidance to students, helping them navigate academic and career challenges.
 
Beyond her academic and professional commitments, Bunmi enjoys engaging in meaningful conversations that foster new perspectives and ideas. She also finds joy in singing and dancing.
