The University of Nebraska at Omaha’s Aviation Institute is proud to offer its students exclusive career opportunities through formal agreements with top regional airlines, including Envoy Air, Republic Airways, and Mesa Airlines. Additionally, UNO is one of first five universities to participate in Southwest Airlines' Destination 225 program, providing students a direct pathway to a career with Southwest.
In 2022, UNO's Aviation Institute expanded its partnerships further by joining United Airlines' Aviate program, giving students a direct route to becoming a United pilot. Furthermore, the Aviation Institute maintains a strong relationship with Jet Linx Aviation, offering students job opportunities both in flight operations and administrative roles.
These partnerships allow students to engage with these programs while still pursuing their studies. Upon graduation and completion of their R-ATP, students can seamlessly transition into the next stages of the hiring process with these esteemed airlines.
