ACDC provides academic advising for students in Exploratory Studies who have completed less than 45 credit hours, and for non-degree students.

What is an Exploratory Studies Major?

A student in Exploratory Studies is someone who knows earning a college degree is the right choice for them, but who is not sure what type of degree they wish to pursue.

Exploratory Studies students may have some interests and skills, but feel unready to commit to a field of study.

If this sounds like you, you're in the right place!

How can our advisors help you?

Students will work with their advisor to strive for academic success by:

  1. Determining personal, career, and academic goals
  2. Exploring majors and courses of interest to find the right fit
  3. Working to find a balance between education, work, family, and activities
