The Staff Advisory Council for 2026-2027 gathers for a group photo on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at the University of Nebraska at Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska.

The Staff Advisory Council (SAC) has officially welcomed 12 new members for the 2026–2029 term. These elected representatives will help serve as key voices for UNO staff across campus.

Empowering Staff

The mission of the Staff Advisory Council (SAC) is to facilitate communication between administration and all staff; advocate on behalf of staff; and function as the staff branch of the shared governance system of UNO.

Michael Pacholski, producer/director and general manager of UNO Television in the School of Communication at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO), has been named UNO's Employee of the Month for June 2026.
