Master's in Communication Curriculum

Curriculum

The curriculum is designed to equip students with both a breadth and depth of knowledge in communication while encouraging intellectual curiosity and allowing them to tailor the program to their individual goals.

In this program, you’ll take courses like:

  • Research Methods Seminars
  • Organizational Communication and Leadership
  • Communication, Health, and Disparity
  • Pop Culture, Mass Media, and Visual Rhetoric

The Master in Communication requires 33 credits. (See chart for breakdown of credits)

The School of Communication is in the College of Communication, Fine Arts and Media (CFAM) and offers a dynamic curriculum with opportunities for research, creative activity, community service experiences in mass media outlets.
