Information Technology Innovation in the HSE
Objective/Purpose
This project offers four graduate fellowships to ITIN Master’s students building innovative technology solutions for the HSE. By having these students work directly with HSE customers, the project will create a pipeline of innovators and innovations, infuse novel thinking into DHS problems, and create validated prototypes leading to new businesses oriented to DHS mission sets.
Methodology
This team conducts technology needs assessments and requirements gathering efforts to identify IT needs and problems in the HSE. They then develop solutions and use an Agile development methodology to build their innovations.
