Biography
Since graduating in 2013 with their degree in psychology from Creighton University, Adrian has worked as a case manager in child welfare and as a behavioral technician in healthcare for children with disabilities. They have a strong passion for LGBTQ+ studies and hope to work in a university setting as a counselor to amplify the voices of queer students, as young adulthood is often an important turning point in identity. This passion is what brought them to UNO. While working as a graduate assistant in the Center for Faculty Excellence and with Student Affairs, they are helping to develop trauma-informed events, awareness, and practices on campus.Education
