A quick reminder about UNO online information and systems

These links and pieces of information are for new members of CPACS as well as those who have been here for years.

NU ID versus NetID

UNO currently uses two primary sets of usernames and passwords to get into various systems.

  • Your NU ID is an 8-digit number you can find on the front side of your MavCARD when you receive it.
  • Your NetID is the first part of your @unomaha.edu email address -- usually the first letter of your first name and your complete last name, though this may not always be the case.
    • Your NetID and password is sometimes referred to as your "single sign-on," as it is used not only to get into the majority of the internal UNO systems, but can oftentimes be used to get into non-UNO systems the university has partnered with.

Passwords and UNO Online Services

Most UNO systems -- including Canvas, email, etc. -- use a single login consisting of your NetID and password.

Some services like MavLINK use a separate username and password system consisting of your NU ID and password.

For a full list of UNO's online services, please visit my.unomaha.edu. Here, you may also assign and reset your passwords if you forget. To reset your NetID password, you'll need your MavLINK information.

Firefly

Firefly is an online faculty/staff portal that allows access to payment information, leave requests, and many other things. It requires your NU ID and password to log on.
