Allison has worked with STEPs as an Assistant Program Evaluator since December 2021 and has worked with the following community partners: Child Saving Institute (CSI) and Inclusive Communities.Education
Allison graduated from North Park University in Chicago in 2014 with a BS in Psychology. Allison is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work degree at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.Professional Background
Allison has experience in the nonprofit sector and higher education. She has worked as a VISTA and later the Director of Programs at the Literacy Council of Grand Island which serves adult English language learners. She has also worked as a staff member at North Park's Brandel Library where she assisted with UX research.Professional Interests
Allison is interested in both direct and macro social work focused on older adults and immigrant communities. At STEPs, she is excited to develop her skills in program evaluation and research through partnering with a variety of community agencies.Professional Presentations
