Biography
Aaron Banman, assistant professor, earned his MSW at Columbia University School of Social Work in New York and his Ph.D. at the University of Chicago, School of Social Service Administration. Dr. Banman's research interests include fathers and fathering; prevention of child maltreatment; child welfare; intervention development and adaptation; evidence-based practice; and implementation of evidence-based practice within human services organizations.
Teaching Interests
Currently, Dr. Banman teaches in both the undergraduate and graduate programs, including: Child Welfare for Social Work, Social Work with Children/Adolescents, Generalist Practice II, Race, Class, and Gender, Health/Mental Health Policy, and Research Methods.
