Undergraduate Internship in Public Health

Basic requirements to be eligible for PHHB 4990

1. 90 credit hours completed - 39 credit hours must be from the Foundation Core
2. Overall GPA of 2.5 or above.
3. No grade below a C- in required courses.
4. Attendance to one of the required Internship Info Sessions.
   • Spring Semester Internship: Attend September Session
   • Summer or Fall Semester Internship: Attend January Session
5. Completion of the Internship Application by the stated deadline.
   • Spring Semester Deadline: October 1
   • Fall Semester Deadline: March 15
   • Summer Semester Deadline: February 1
6. Approval from the School of H&K Internship Coordinator.

Public Health Internship Details

1. Internships are one semester in duration.

2. A minimum of 150 hours must be accumulated during the semester (approximately 10-15 hours per week).

3. Internship sites must be approved by the School of H&K Internship Coordinator.

4. Internships may be completed during the spring, summer, or fall semesters.
