The School of Health and Kinesiology understands that choosing a major is a big decision to make. We know many students are interested in health, fitness, community wellness, and pre-health professions, like physical therapy, occupational therapy, nursing, and even medicine.
The Exploratory Health & Kinesiology (H&K) option is a great way to explore the academic programs related to these fields. Students will explore introductory courses while also making progress on general education requirements.
Exploratory H&K students will work closely with academic advisors to learn about majors and career options. These students receive individualized support and advising to help them reach their goals and ultimately select a major.
