Internships and leadership opportunities provide students with outstanding hands-on experiences to apply what they learn in their courses and to learn more about career options. Beta Alpha Psi
Students in UNO's Gamma Kappa chapter interact with local professionals at weekly meetings, engage in meaningful community service, and attend regional and annual meetings.
Membership in Beta Alpha Psi, the international honor organization for accounting, finance, and information systems students, is based on academic and participation criteria.

2025 Schedule
Our Gamma Kappa Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi leads our Accounting Careers Program (ACP) at UNO. The mission of our ACP is to equip accounting students at the University of Nebraska at Omaha with skills and information that will help them transition into an accounting internship or entry-level position by providing resources related to various accounting career options, and facilitating opportunities to connect accounting students with potential employers.
Our School of Accounting (SOA) ACP events include Power Dinners each semester and an annual Meet the Firms - Expo. Power Dinners and Meet the Firms - Expo are open to all CBA students who are interested in exploring a career in accounting.
