Building a Solid Foundation

These courses are not required for students pursuing the Medical Humanities Minor, but are very useful background education for many of our course options.

These courses DO NOT count directly toward the minor:

  • BLST 1000: Introduction to Black Studies
  • GERO 2000: Introduction to Gerontology
  • NAMS 1100: Introduction to Native American Studies
  • PHIL 1020: Contemporary Moral Problems
  • PHIL 1210: Critical Reasoning
  • PSYC 1010: Introduction to Psychology I
  • PSYC 1020: Introduction to Psychology II *
  • RELI 1010: Introduction to World Religions
  • SOC 1010: Introductory Sociology
  • WGST 2010: Introduction to Women's and Gender Studies: Social and Behavioral Science

* All of these courses count toward General Education Requirements with the exception of PSYC 1020.
