  5. Dual Enrollment with Geography

UNO's Dual Enrollment program allows academically talented students to earn college credit while still in high school.

College-bound students can get a jump on their degree and maximize their time in advanced high school classes. Dual enrollment can provide enhanced curriculum opportunities that help students remain engaged in their junior and senior years of high school and help prepare for college level work.

The Department of Geography offers Dual Enrollment for:

  • GEOG 1020: Introduction to Human Geography (3) - An introductory course which studies the geography of human activity through a topic by topic coverage of cultural traits and complexes that characterize different societies in the world. Major cultural topics of focus are the geography of population, agricultural systems, settlement, language, religion, political patterns, and the way people occupy urban and industrial space, among others.
