We are pleased to offer this annual scholarship to students pursing a UNO Holocaust and Genocide Studies minor! Multiple awards are available per year, each valued between $500 and $2500.
The Holocaust and Genocide Studies Minor - the first of its kind in the Midwest - provides students a comprehensive interdisciplinary approach to genocide through the study of history, political science, literature, philosophy, law, sociology, religious studies and more.
It is designed to help students understand the causes of genocide, draw lessons from the past, and assist them in becoming responsible global citizens.
Criteria:
- Applicant must be a Holocaust and Genocide Studies minor in good standing.
- Applicant must be a full-time student (min: 12 credit hours per semester).
Encouraged to apply:
- Students with a demonstrated financial need.
- First-generation college students.
