For Students Interested in Becoming Respiratory Care Specialists
This health specialty provides a wide range of therapeutic and diagnostic services to patients with heart and lung disorders, including the evaluation and monitoring of heart and lung function as well as giving treatment.
Nebraska Methodist College in Omaha offers an Associate of Science degree in respiratory care. Students may apply to the program directly after high school, or may take the courses offered at UNO to transfer into the program. If accepted, transfer students would still have about 1-1½ years left at NMC.
