For Students Interested in Becoming Physician Assistants
Physician assistants work alongside physicians and other medical professionals, providing medical care and writing prescriptions for a variety of patients. A foundation in the biological sciences, chemistry, mathematics and psychology, along with a major of the student’s choice is considered an ideal preparation for this profession.
The University of Nebraska Medical Center’s Physician Assistant program requires a bachelor’s degree as well as the courses our college offers prior to applying.

The GRE is required.- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.
