department of gerontology online programs.
Distance education is a reflection of a twenty-first century world. Our department has embraced this new way of providing students with a convenient and thought-provoking way of learning about the aging experience. Courses are available to students throughout Nebraska, the U.S. and worldwide. These are in addition to our on-campus offerings in Omaha and Lincoln.
Thanks to the generosity of University of Nebraska Online we are now developing offerings at the undergraduate and graduate levels including certificates and the MA in Social Gerontology. We are also working closely with UNL's Department of Interior Design in giving students the opportunity to combine courses in gerontology and design as part of our collaborative certificate. Finally, none of our efforts would be possible without the generosity of our private donors including The Vetter Foundation and Terry Haney in supporting our efforts.
Distance Education promises to be an exciting chapter in our successful history. We look forward to you joining us in this journey.
