With the NebraskaCYBER MATRIX initiative, students in the Master of Science in Cybersecurity program gain access to UNO’s state-of-the-art Security Operations Center (SOC). From the start, you will learn in a “live fire” environment, practicing real-world attack and defend simulations while engaging with cutting-edge AI tools for cyber threat monitoring and response. The SOC serves as both a classroom and a regional hub, connecting you with businesses, government agencies, and national security partners. This hands-on training ensures you graduate with the skills employers need ready to detect, defend, and innovate in the face of evolving cyber threats.
