Employment and Income Verifications – TrueConfirm
Beginning September 8, 2025, all employment and income verification requests for the University of Nebraska System will be handled by our third-party partner, TrueConfirm.
UNO HR receives a high volume of verification requests from lenders, landlords, pre-employment screeners, and government agencies. To ensure privacy and compliance, these requests will no longer be processed by phone, email, fax, or mail by UNO HR staff.
For Third-Party Requestors:
All verification requests must be submitted directly through TrueConfirm.

Employees can access the TrueConfirm Employee Dashboard at www.TrueConfirm.com to:
- View your own verification report
- Enable notifications
- Manage privacy settings

Data shared with TrueConfirm is limited to standard employment and income information, home address, and the last four digits of your Social Security Number. Information is encrypted and secured. Employees may opt in or out of data file sharing at any time through SAP Firefly Employee Self Service.

The workers' compensation system in Nebraska is a no-fault system that compensates injured workers for medical bills, lost wages, and permanent impairments resulting from their injuries.
