The BRIDGE Lab conducts translational Human-Centered Computing (HCC) research to inform and change practice in the form of actionable guidelines, policies, recommendations, new products and processes.

The BRIDGE Lab has several ongoing research projects in the areas of Computer Science Education, Open Communities and Open Source Software, Human-Computer Interaction, and Design Theory and Methodology.

What is the BRIDGE lab?

The BRIDGE lab is a research group focused on Bridging Research in Innovation, DesiGn, and Education. As such, we explore issues central to diverse fields such as human-centered computing, open and shared information ecosystems, innovative design, and computing education. At our core, we conduct translational research to inform and change practice in the form of actionable guidelines, policies, recommendations, new products, and processes.
