Program Benefits and Highlights:

  • Accelerated certification options lead to elementary or secondary teacher certification in as little as 12 months.
  • Coursework required for teacher certification is applied towards a master’s degree in Elementary or Secondary Education.
  • Each student is assigned a trained support team consisting of school district and UNO faculty to provide professional and educational leadership in the school environment.
  • Immersion in the culture of an elementary or secondary school provides students the opportunity to immediately apply teaching strategies learned in coursework.
