All of Shakespeare's plays performed in an hour and half of slapstick comedy.

Performances: February 13-15, 2026

Gender flexible casting.

Daniel - Tries to come off as a professional. Fails.

Notice of Intimacy on this production:

Romeo – simulated intimacy between Romeo and Juliet.

Actions include physical touch, kissing.

Text/script references: 1.5, p. 10; 2.2 p. 12-14 (potential); 2.6 p. 18 (implied wedding; potential);

3.5 p. 27-28; 5.3 p. 38-39

Juliet – simulated intimacy between Romeo and Juliet.

Actions include physical touch, kissing.

Text/script references: 1.5, p. 10; 2.2 p. 12-14 (potential); 2.6 p. 18 (implied wedding; potential); 3.5 p. 27-28; 5.3 p. 38-39

Please note: all intimacy sequences will be choreographed with the actors involved. Placeholders will be utilized until a mutually agreed upon date.

Also note that this production will also include choreographed violence.


Requirements:

All auditioners should prepare two monologues:

- One dramatic monologue in verse from Shakespeare

- One contemporary comedic monologue (something post-1980 please!)

- The combined monologues plus a slate (name, play titles, playwrights) should not exceed three minutes.

- Note that anyone called back for the character of Romeo or Juliet will be asked to sing at callbacks (materials will be provided).
