Auditions for OAYO's 2026-27 Season are NOW OPEN!

We are pleased to announce that we have released audition materials for OAYO's 2026-27 Auditions! Audition materials can be found on our Audition Materials page.

All auditions will be submitted as video recordings via Submittable. The link will go live on April 1st, 2026, and will close on June 1st, 2026 at 11:59pm. Late auditions will not be considered.

Students will be placed in the ensemble that is the best fit for them based on:

  1. Their audition
  2. Balancing instrumentation between the ensembles (strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion).

OAYO strives to place each student in an ensemble that is the best fit for their demonstrated skill level.

Fall 2026 Prelude Strings

Registration for Fall 2026 Prelude Strings will open in early fall.

Rehearsals be at UNO Strauss Performing Arts Center from September - November.
