Audition Packets
Audition packets will be posted when auditions launch for the 2026-27 Season. Prepare only one audition packet: prepare the packet for the most advanced ensemble you wish to be considered for. See ensemble descriptions below.
We accept auditions on the following instruments:

Oboe
Clarinet
Bassoon
French Horn
Trumpet
Trombone/Euphonium/Baritone
Tuba
Percussion

Viola

Youth Concert Strings
Sundays from September to March, 4:15 - 6 P.M.
- An intermediate level, string orchestra.
- Typically includes students in grades 4-8
Audition Requirements
- Scales
- 1-2 minute solo or etude
- Required excerpt
Youth Philharmonic
Sundays from September to March, 4 - 6 P.M.
- Musicians typically in grades 7-12 who demonstrate an expanded set of abilities specific to their instrument.
Audition Requirements

Youth Symphony
Sundays from September to May, 1:30 - 3:30 P.M.
- Typically, students in grades 9-12 who demonstrate the full range of abilities specific to their instrument.
