Don't have a CAB Lab SONA account yet? Here's how to get started with our research studies:

  1. Click 'New User' below.
  2. Fill out all fields (use your @unomaha.edu email).
  3. Select the course(s) you are enrolled in for SONA credit.
    • If you aren't enrolled in any listed courses, select 'NO CREDIT.'
  4. After completing the form, select 'Request Account.'
  5. If you are younger than 19, contact drwhite@unomaha.edu .
  6. Check your email for your User ID, password, and Identity Code (SONA ID).
  7. Once you log in, you can change your information by accessing 'My Profile'.

Adding Courses

Already have a SONA account? Here's how to continue participating in our research studies.

  1. Log in to SONA.
  2. Go to 'My Profile.' 
  3. Select 'Change Courses.' 
  4. Select your new course(s).
    • If you aren't enrolled in any listed courses, select "NO CREDIT."

SONA Account FAQ's

Your SONA ID is the 'Identity Code' located in your SONA profile. It is not your NUID. CAB Lab proctors will ask you for your SONA ID before you participate in a study.

YES! Even if you have another SONA account associated with UNO, you will still need to have a CAB Lab SONA account to take studies at our lab.

In SONA, select 'My Schedule/Credits' to see the studies you've particpiated in. Click "Reassign" on the credit you would like to reassign, then choose the class you'd like the credits to go to and click "Reassign Credit"
