Peer tutoring is offered to UNO students free of charge.

Q: Where is the MSLC?

A: The MLSC is located in 107 Durham Science Center.

Q: What courses can the MSLC help me with?

A: All 1000 and 2000 level math and science courses are supported by the drop-in tutoring. You can also find help with 3000 and 4000 level courses - just ask and we'll take care of you.

Q: How else can the MSLC help me?

A: Academic consultation - for instance, what to do when studying more for your next exam didn't improve your score.

Q: What is the cost?

A: Nothing... it's FREE!

What is STEM?

STEM is a curriculum based on the idea of educating students in four specific disciplines — science, technology, engineering, and mathematics — in an interdisciplinary and applied approach.

Rather than teach the four disciplines as separate and discrete subjects, STEM integrates them into a cohesive learning paradigm based on real-world applications.
